Vitra - Albula Sofa Table

Albula is a large and versatile sofa table from Vitra. Initially it was designed by Antonio Citterio complimenting his Suite Sofa family, but it is also suitable for already existing furnishings.

The versatility from Albula is characterized by the unobtrusive but still peculiarly formal appearance, on the other side its emphasized warm, homely charisma, reminding us of the Mid Century design.

The characteristic features from the table are its complex formed table board made of MDF with a linoleum layer on both sides and the elliptical, twisted against each other foot that consist of massive wood.

The cut of the table board is not only optically attractive; it also offers a functional advantage: the up to the narrow sides rejuvenated table enables an easy access to the sofa and it still stays near enough to the user for a problem-less object-depositing.
