The dining table Prikka comes from the eponymous furniture collection by Ilmari Tapiovaara. Already designed in 1955, the furniture pieces are part of the Tapiovaara Family Collection by the Finnish company Artek today.

Prikka connects rustic forms with the design weightlessness of the 1950es. Apparently the table spreads a cool elegance that made it one of the most desired pieces of furniture shortly after its appearance, despite its manufacturing out of solid wood.

The Prikka Table is ideal for dining and living areas and characterized by high quality, classic design and a unique form-speaking. The Prikka Table perfectly suits in every furnishing with its purist elegance acting as design highlight at the same time.

The table top of Prikka is made out of solid pinewood the frame consists of birch wood. Both parts are available separately in the colour editions black, brown or a honey-tone. Accordingly the wood will be waxed, stained or lacquered.
