Trix from Kartell is a versatile seating object that changes its form and thereby its function with only one handle. This is possible because of an elegant rubber band system that connects the three Trix cushions.

A slight rotary movement is enough to transform Trix’s form enabling the most different usage possibilities: Trix can serve as original Pouf for two people, as bed, as comfortable Chaiselongue and as cosy armchair.

Trix’s genius design was coined by Piero Lissoni. The Italian company Kartell manufactures the seating object out of polyurethane foam to ensure the highest possible comfort and flexibility. This soft material makes Trix especially robust and moreover commodious. The three cushions are finally coated with a colourful, removable technical tissue.

Design: Piero Lissoni

Piero Lissoni was born in 1956 in Seregno, Italiy. After his architecture studies in Milan did he work as a designer for Molteni and Lema. In 1986 he founded in cooperation with Nicoletta Canesi the Milan studio "Lissoni Associat". Designer Piero Lissoni
