In 1951 the armchair PK25 was the final work of designer legend Poul Kjærholm at the Applied Arts School in Copenhagen. And with that the origin of his big design career in which he was promoted next to Arne Jacobsen, Poul Henningsen, Verner Panton and Hans Wegner as the most important agents of the Danish design.
The steel base of the armchair is made of one steel piece and is bent in a way, that the seat and the back wraps around the bent base. The base is made of matt chromed fiber glass.
