MT3 Rocking Chair

The MT series out of the Driade Store collection exists since 2005. The whole seating furniture series MT by the Israeli-Britain designer Ron Arad includes and armchair (MT1), a rocking chair (MT3) and a sofa (MT2).

MT3 is a rocking chair out of a monoblock rotation plastic (polyethylene). The comfortable chair has a sand white colour outside and is orange inside. Because of the used plastic material it is adapted for both: indoor and outdoor use.

Design: Ron Arad

Ron Arad was born in 1951 in Tel Aviv. After having studied at the Art Academy in Jerusalem, he moved in 1973 to London where he studied until 1974 at the Architectural Association under Peter Cool and Bernhard Tschumi. Designer Ron Arad
