Brendan Ravenhill was inspired by the functional beauty of handicraft devices for the Wall Clamp wall shelf; more precisely he was inspired by the classic screw clamp. The designer found the perfect symbiosis of form and function as well as the development of a Patina through its continuous use especially fascinating. Wall Clamp is his own interpretation of a screw clamp that becomes an unusual wall shelf.

The Wall Clamp shelf from areaware consists of two screw clamps hat can me mounted with individual distance to each other on the wall. A board can then be placed and fixed on them – ready is the wall shelf! Wall Clamp can for example also be used as book shelf if books are inserted between the screw clamps instead of boards.

Areaware manufactures the Wall Clamp shelf out of cast iron and birch wood. A shelf board is not included in the delivery package.
