Unique, individual and practical – Stacked is a modular shelving system which has been designed by JDS architects for Muuto. Stacked is available in different colours. Inside of each colour, Muuto offers three differently sized modules that can be combined with each other for your individual shelf.

According to the designer Julien De Smedt, while developing Stacked, it was an aim to build a generalist and specific shelving system at the same time. Behind that there hides the problem that common shelves can only be cut oriented by their future inventory (folders for example), of offer compartments for “everything and nothing”.

The storage compartments from Stacked were therefore built in different sizes so that the most different accessories would find a place inside of it, combining colours and other sized compartments. An exclusive and practical shelving system came out which enables the storage of differently efficient things. A highlight among your furniture.

The modules of the pine wood Stacked shelving system from Muuto are available with or without back walls.
