Auerberg - Side Table

My friend Carl Magnusson asked me to design a side table for the US market. I bent it out of one single piece of profiled aluminium bleach – with two different heighted deposit spaces, for a lot of things, books, CDs or glasses, said designer Christoph Böninger.

The art of the manufacturing is to bend the six bleach edges so that the profiling wouldn’t be damaged. However, the liability risks would have been too large in America. That is why we entered it in the Auerberg collection. And because it is very simple.
