La Palma - Ueno Side Table

Since 2005 the Italian design manufacturer La Palma produces the side table and stool Ueno.

The minimalist design was coined by the Japanese designer Takashi Shinozaki and it is perfectly suitable to the La Palma products range with its cool simplicity.

Ueno is stackable and a variable object that can equally be positioned in a vertical and horizontal position.

The side tables’ and stools’ frame is made out of sandblasted stainless steel; the table and the seating panel consist out of multiplex in bleached oak wood and available in a black or white lacquered colour.

Takashi Shinozaki was born in 1968 in Tokyo, Japan. From 1993 to 1996 he studied architecture at the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts. Takashi Shinozaki was already awarded twice with the Japanese Good Design Award. Designer Takashi Shinozaki
