The Italian tradition manufacturer Zanotta has 12 products in his collection, which have the title “Evergreen” – one of the exclusive members of this family is “Throw Away”, a series of upholstery, which was designed by the Scotish-Italian designer Willie Landels in 1965 and which is since then produced by Zanotta.
Its name is today not understandable literally and hearkens that the original used foam was so cheap, that a new cover of the furniture would not be payable, and that one could throw it away and buy a new sampler. With a design-classic like that, it is advised against this action.
The armchair and the sofa with the originally intended flat plastic covers became popular, before they later used other fabrics and leather as cover. Throw Away is an armchair, available as 2- and as 3-seater-sofa and convinces through its absolute timeless design.
The stool of the series "Throw Away" is also available, as well as other cover fabrics and colour versions.
