Why sit still if you love to move?
Hokka-Ido is a stool for people, who like to stay in movement. And at the same time the humorful evasion of the forbiddance to tilt with a chair. That is fun and moves - also in the head.
The Japanese designer Naoki Terada was inspired by his childrens memories. Just like many other children, it was hard for him to sit still on the table and he was admonished several times. Back then he dreamed of a moving chair. With Hokka-Ido he fulfiled his dream.

The Japanese architect and designer Naoki Terada was born in 1967 in Osaka. Since 2003 he leads his own studio "Teradadesign" in Tokyo, in which he realised designs in the area architecture, product- and interior design. Designer Naoki Terada
