The wastebasket convinces with its design, its elegant plainness and the characteristics, which lift the products of Piero Lissonis Birillo from the rest of the bathroom-accessories: Through the roundings on the floor, the storing areas are visible, the objects of the family seem to float on the flat aeas of the bathroom.

Designeable Piero Lissoni was inrpired for Birillo by the shape of a rounded square, which evolve to different three dimensional bodies. The designer himself describes the shape as „imperfect square or totally missed round shape“. The combination of the materials stainless steel and plastic (PMMA) cater also for charming contrasts in optic and haptic.

Piero Lissoni was born in 1956 in Seregno, Italiy. After his architecture studies in Milan did he work as a designer for Molteni and Lema. In 1986 he founded in cooperation with Nicoletta Canesi the Milan studio "Lissoni Associat". Designer Piero Lissoni
