The bin is part of the Kali bathroom-collection that was designed by the Londoner Design Studio Doshi Levien for Authentics. The square bin consists of robust ASA-plastic and has a capacity of 10 l. The lid hides the garbage bag thanks to its wide border.

Thanks to its intelligent clamping technology for the garbage bags, the Kali bin doesn’t need an interior bin. And this is how it works: initially the lid has to be taken off, and then the bag has to be inserted and drawn over the borders. Now you can tight the bag at one edge and transform it into a sort of cord. This one can be inserted into the bin through a slit of the edge. Now the bag holds itself.

Doshi Leviens work is the junction and fusion of cultures, technologies, industrial design and craftsmanship. As a result the bathroom series Kali is a hybrid: clear lines and high gloss surfaces alternate fascinatingly with mat areas and ornamental details. All this makes up a cultural multi-sound and an invitation to your senses.
