Amei plant containers are naturally pretty and extremely robust. They consist of technical sophisticated composite stone fibre – a mixture of polyester-resin and milled stone, where also additional inserted fiberglass strength ensures a special high stability.

On one side, the amai plant containers fascinate because of their high quality mineral look that develops natural grey platinum after a few months at the black models. On the other side, stone fibre is frost resistant. The containers therefore survive smaller plunges; storm occasioned tilting and winters in exterior shelves without any problems. In the direct comparison with stone and clay pots, they score thanks to their minimal material thickness with a clearly reduced weight that makes the handling easier.

If the amei plant containers are used outside and stay in the rain unprotected, please add water-outflow holes with a drilling machine or a common stone driller to the bottom, because if not, root rot will emerge because of the accumulating water in the pot.

We would like to point out that small traces on the surface, unevenness and a slight fading of the material are part of the natural, but also intentional characteristics of the stone fibre material. All amei plats containers are one by one hand made, so that these traces are a condition of the product. However, they are easily removed with a little household common oil or shoe-cream.
