The Chikuno Cube comes from Japan and is a real enrichment dor the daily life. The material bamboo coal has the nice characteristic to absorb odours, and to remove the thick air out of the rooms. That's why the Cube is especially good for closed rooms like bathrooms, cars, or refridgerators.

Smells (strictly speaking ammonia, formaldehyde and methylbenzene) are absorbed. The big effect of the little cubes offers the consistency of the bumboocoal, which displays itself under the microscope. Countless holes let the evolve, which reminds of a bee nest. So one gramm of coal offers a surface of more than 300 square meter storage capacity – more than three football fields. And all that happens to a 100 percent ecological!

After one months the Chikuno Cube should be „drained“. For that it has to be positioned under direct insolation for one hour, through which the storage is released, so that the work is done. Because the natural materials are water soluble, should the cleaning of the cube occur dry.
