Ruckstuhl - Teppich Salim

The carpet Salim was designed by Alfredo Häberli for Ruckstuhl. Cake coasters out of paper were exemplarily for the solitaire shapes. The design meant a new challenge for Ruckstuhl since cutting a piece of felt by computer is normal, but not to cut a very huge piece of felt.

As a result of the cutting technique by Ruckstuhl, Salim possesses different gaps in its design, making the base below the carpet viewable. The carpet is characterized by a harmonic connection of function and aesthetic as well as a balanced expression of material, structure and colours. Salim can be used in living rooms as well as presentation rooms.

The material felt consists by 100% out of pure new wool; it is compact and spreads warmth.
