The cushion Maharam Geometri black/white was designed by Verner Panton in the year 1960. The cover shows the typical Panton combination of round and square forms whose contrasts are even stronger because of the colour. The cushion itself consists of feathers and polyurethane foam.

Many of the architects and designer of the 20th century occupied their selves with the design of textiles realizing their idea of colours, forms and materials. The New Yorker textiles company Maharam reedited some of the most significant furniture textile-designs as high quality in their colour and faithful in their weaving technique.

The sofa and seat cushions from the “Textiles of the 20th century” series from Vitra are an ideal fulfilling of the furniture from Charles & Ray Eames, George Nelson and Verner Panton, setting also an own accent in contemporaneous and classic interiors.
