Vitra - Cushion Maharam: Repeat Dot Ring pink reverse

The Cushion Dot Ring pink reverse is part of the tissue series Repeat that was designed by Hella Jongerius for the tradition rich textiles manufacturer Maharam. The cushion possesses a striped pattern with damped colours and consists of feathers and polyurethane foam.

For the New Yorker textiles manufacturer Maharam the designer Hella Jongerius created the “Repeat” named series of woven fabrics. The designs pick up historical designs from the companies archives and translate them into the contemporaneous time. With a quite irony Jongerius varies the historical drafts into new fabrics and combinations.
