Repeat is a series of woven fabrics that Hella Jongerius created for the New Yorker textiles manufacturer Maharam. The designs pick up historical designs from the companies archives and translate them into the contemporaneous time. With a quite irony Jongerius varies the historical drafts into new fabrics and combinations.
Hella Jongerius, born in 1963 in Meern, Holland, studied design in Eindhoven. Hella Jongerius is responsible of a huge part of the constantly growing Vitra Home Collection together with Jasper Morrison and Erwan Bouroullec. Designer Hella Jongerius
