Constanza is an elegant floor lamp with modern sensor dimmers. The designer Paolo Rizzatto has designed the lamp for Luceplan in 1986.
The sensor dimmer is placed at a small metal rod directly at the shade of the lamp. A soft touch is enough to adapt the light intensity to individual demands, or simply to switch the lamp on and off.
With its weightless and furthermore washable shade, Constanza creates a diffuse and pleasantly warm light. The shade however, is fixed at two points, so that it seesaws softly and keeps its balance if it is pushed.
The slim and elegantly structured design of the Constanza floor lamp is seamlessly inserted in every surrounding. With the expandable telescope rod out of aluminium, the height of the lamp can vary between 120 and 160 centimeters.
Luceplan suggests an illuminant with an E27 socket and maximal 150 Watt for the powering of the Constanza floor lamp.
The Milan Paolo Rizzatto counts to the most successful contemporaneous Italian Designers. He already won the Compasso d’Oro three times. In 1978 he founded the company Luceplan together with Ricardo Sarfatti and Sandra Severi. Designer Paolo Rizzatto
