If a lamp has ever reached cult status, then it is this one. More than an image, mora than a lamp – Edition Copy is a whole world itself. Simple and pure in its assembly and totally open for every idea and insert. Never static, always dynamic. That is why the idea Edition Copy is never being boring. Edition Copy is as well cult as cultural experiment.

The lamp is made for common bulbs. Stronger bulbs include the danger that the plastic panels of the motives get damaged because of the heat. Alternatively you can also use energy saving bulbs. Thereby you should ensure that the diameter of them doesn’t overtake the common bulb’s one, or simply choose a candle form.

The socket has a pull switch so that the assembly at a wall that has no electric connections is also made possible. Thereby the socket is opened and the 1.5 meters long cable with a welded euro-connector can be extracted. Screws and dowels for the wall mounting are included in the delivery package.

The lamp shade consists of a transparent panel with a closed “U” form. In between a white diffusing panel is clamped. Normally the image motive is positioned in front of this one.

A view protection is available as accessory. This one serves to avoid possible side glimpses increasing the light efficacy the more. This view protection foil simply replaces the white diffusing plate.

Create own motives
Copy a printable template (photo, drawing or something that fits the copy device…) in the next copy shop on a foil or parchment. All copy shops have suitable foils or parchment paper for you to choose. Please only note that the motive has to be enlarged or made accordingly smaller to fit a square format. This is naturally also possible with a computer and its printer. For every printer type there are special foils or parchment papers.
