The Pirce pendant lamp was designed by Guiseppe Maurizio Scutellà for the Italian manufacturer Artemide. The design from Pirce acts like the result of a scissor cut: the fine plate passes to a softly swung twirl that is inclined downwards in a spiral form.
The illuminant sits in the bottom, bowl formed lamp shade at Pirce, and spreads the light upwards. This is how the Artemide pendant lamp Pirce creates indirect light and makes magical light and shadow effects possible. Through the indirect light spread, Pirce can be mounted in halls or directly over the sitting area or the dining table.
The Pirce pendant lamp from Artemide was awarded with numerous prizes for its fascinating design. Among others, the lamp from the designer Guiseppe Maurizio Scutellà got the red dot award, the iF Design Award and the American Good Design Award.
The swung design from Pirce adorns a pendant- as well as a wall lamp from Artemide. The pendant lamp is also available as a halogen lamp or for metal steam lamps.
