Tecnolumen - HL99 Bauhaus suspension with mit opal ball

Already before 1900 did an unknown designer create, as one of his first designs for lamps for electric light bulbs, this suspension, made of a chromed tube with an opal ball. They were hanged in a lot of rooms from many architects like Peter Behrens, Adolf Loos or Josef Hoffmann.

In Bauhaus did they have similar designs by Marianne Brandt and Hans Przyrembel. In the 20ies and 30ies those lamps were produced in large numbers and people like to put them into schools or offices.

The HL99 suspension with opal ball is available in five sizes: with 200 mm, 250 mm, 300 mm, 350 mm and 400 mm large opal ball. The chromed tube is 1m long, but can be shortened by sawing because the hanger holds the pole without weights.

As illuminant can the conventional E27 light bulb be used (max. 60-100W), but you can also put light bulbs with a diffusor size of 30 cm and also EVG fluorescent lamps in it.

A version of the HL99 made of polished and znitro-cellulose lacquered brass is also available.
