Kartell - Neutra Pendant Lamp

Minimal, elegant and strict. Neutra is a protruding, round pendant lamp from the designer Pietro Ferruccio Laviani. Neutra consists of two bowl-form elements that cover the lamp’s structure connectedly and that offer a seamless look to it.

If both shades are put into another, the interior shade completely covers the illuminant and the interior structure from Neutra. For the pendant lamp to work, two ring illuminants are necessary for the light to be spread equally on the shade’s surface and softly into the room.

With a diameter of 90 centimetres, Neutra is an ideal lamp for the object area and for large rooms. A simple setting system allows the adjustment of the pendant lamp in special cases: Neutra can be suspended between 40 and 230 centimetres of length.

The Italian company Kartell manufactures the shade of the pendant lamp Neutra out of coloured PMMA. The interior structure consists of polycarbonate. The inner shade of the lamp is white, while the external shade was kept in a classic white or black colour, depending on the pendant’s version.
