The pendant lamp Queen Titania by Luceplan is the big sister of the classic Titania lamp from Luceplan. The designers Alberto Meda and Paolo Rizzato have initially designed Titania in 1989. With helping colour filters, an individual coloring of the lamp corpus is reached, acting futuristic and slightly floating in the room.

Numerous lamellae out of aluminium form the elliptic corpus of the Queen Titania pendant lamp. In the middle there are both illuminants that spread their light into the room through the lamellae. With only a simple hand-movement, the colourful filters can be inserted in the pendant lamp so that its wings appear in the desired colour. The light colour in the middle of the lamp will always remain white.

The lamellae furthermore ensure that the direct light doesn’t dazzle the Queen Titania light. At the same time it mirrors the light and spreads it in the room. Visually the thin lamellae ensure that the body of the lamp seems invisible if watched from its front, while it seems massive observed from one lateral.

The length of the suspension of the pendant lamp can be changed with the spherical counterweight. Thanks to the weightless construction of the lamp, Luceplan’s Queen Titania can also be fixed at weightless, inclined or wooden ceilings without any problems.
