Luceplan - Supergiú Pendant Lamp

Supergiù was designed by Diego Rossi and Raffaele Tedesco for Luceplan in the year 2005. The pendant lamp allows the interaction with light and thereby creates different illumination scenes with one simple movement. Supergiù was honored with the Design Plus Award 2006 for its refined design.

The diffusor of the Supergiù pendant lamp is movable and can be aligned up- or downwards. If the shade is pushed upwards, the light-spread-angle on the bottom is enlarged becoming more direct. If the shade is moved downwards instead, more light is spread upwards, creating indirect light.

Liceplan manufactures its Supergiù pendant lamp out of aluminium. We suggest an illuminant with E27 socket and maximal 150 for the function of this lamp. The lamp can be suspended directly or indirectly. The length can thereby be varied between 100 and 250 cm.

Diego Rossi was born in the year 1976. He is architect focused on light design and high tech products. He has already worked together with companies such as Luceplan, 3M and Romin Solar Research. Designer Diego Rossi

Design: Raffaele Tedesco

Raffaele Tedesco was born in 1976 and deceased in 2007. Tedesco was architect focusing on light design. Since 2001 Raffaele Tedesco works together with the Italian manufacturer Luceplan and designed the lamps Agave, Zeno and Supergiù. Designer Raffaele Tedesco
