Moooi - Random Light pendant light

The Random Light pendant light with the filigree appearance has been designed in 2001 by Benjan Pot for the Dutch company Moooi.

The production process sounds very simple as the shade consists of glass fibre that is being inserted into Epoxide resin and then wrapped around a balloon. This sounds simple but according to the designer it took 3 years to be developed.

The result looks good, however, as the Random Light is not only an eye-catcher in every room but it also plays with light and shade in a unique way.

Due to the production process every light is also unique. Random Light comes in 3 different sizes (diameter of 50, 80 or 105 cm), as well as in black or in white. Therefore there should be a perfect lamp for every room size and every taste.
