Petite Friture - Vertigo Pendant Lamp

Vertigo from Petite Friture is a large and thereby extremely weightless and flexible pendant lamp by the designer Constance Guisset. Not only its weight is light, but also the look of the lamp. Vertigo is made out of numerous dynamic struts that spread a diffuse shadow pattern as soon as they are illuminated.

Because of its low weight of only 500 grams with a large size of about 2 metres, Vertigo moves softly with the rhythm of the wind. With the blowing wind the lamp turns slowly around itself and seems to flow, while the flexible shade at the same time tilts and bends. With its bended form, Vertigo covers the below area visually and spreads a quite and intimate atmosphere with its soft movements.

Despite its size Vertigo by the designer Constance Guisset doesn’t seem heavy or sedate. The weightless lamp’s structure is made out of fibreglass, steel and polyurethane. Inside of the shade there is an E27 illuminant with maximal 15 Watt. Vertigo is manufactured by the French company Petite Friture in the colours black and green. Cable and baldachin of the lamp are black for both variants.
