Flos - Romeo Soft Suspension Fixture

Pendelleuchte Romeo Soft von Philippe Starck für Flos Icon

The Romeo light series was created in 1998 by French stardesigner Philippe Starck for Italian manufacturer Flos. The diffuse light provided by the suspension fixture Romeo Soft creates a cosy illumination and a soft atmosphere.

The internal diffuser is made of acid-etched and borosilicate glass. The shade consists of pliss cloth. The diffuser support consists of injection-molded, transparent polycarbonate (UL-94 V2). Also the dust protection screen is made of transparent, stamped polycarbonate (UL-94 V2).

The rose of the romeo suspension consists of white, injection-molded ABS (UL-94 HB) whereas the ceiling fitting is made of galvanized pressed steel. The steel suspension cables have a maximum length of 400 cm. The polarized double-isolated PTFE power cords have the same length.
