Beat Light is a series of pendant lamps from Tom Dixon.

The lamps are hand made consisting of brass and later on get their black external colour.

The Beat Lights differ at the forms of their shades. Beat Light Wide has a flat but therefore soft shade, Beat Light Stout possesses a squat, round shade. Beat Light Fat is small, but compact. And Beat Light Tall is a funnel formed and long lamp.

All lamps have their simple black colour in common. The most different shades do, however, enable the versatile illumination. Also the brass coloured interior is differently viewable because of the different forms; all this makes the lamps easy to distinguish, being still steadily the recognizable as “related” characteristics.

The black external appearance and the brass coloured, illuminated interior, offer an interesting and mysterious look to the lamps. Despite this, the Beat Light lamps are introducible in every furnishing because of their simple forms and colours, but assuredly being a visual highlight that becomes an eye-catcher, on the second sight.

Also the Beat Light variants Stout, Fat and Tall are available.
