The rolling form of the lamp diffuses the light downwards and to the short sides. The form resembles a clam – therefore the name.

The Clam pendant light by the designer of pelican Copenhagen is being mounted to the ceiling and there it is being carried by a wire construction. That’s why the lamp lights large parts of the room, despite the fact that the light is being blocked at the long sides by the lamp shade.

Clam is perfectly suitable for lighting longish rooms and corridors. Mounted inclined it is able to light further areas. It’s up to your creativity and requirements, how exactly you’re using Clam. The filed design provides a wide range of possibilities and with its simple elegance it adds a lot to every room.

Upon request, the Clam pendant light is available in other variants, e.g. as a dimmable variant.
