Since 1987 the Italian company Artemide produces the well known Tolomeo lamps from the designers Giancarlo Fassina and Michele de Lucchi.The Tolomeo LED table lamp runs with energy saving and long lasting LEDs.

Giancarlo Fassina and Michele de Lucchi reached a trend-setting and extremely successful design of a desk lamp in that time, which is placed on numerous architects offices and agencies today, with Tolomeo.

The highly movable frame, the simple alu-look and the hat-formed shade are the characteristics of the Tolomeo lamp whose simple and archetypical forms served as inspiration source for similar lamps for many other companies and designers.

Because of the enormous flexibility of the swing-arm and the rotatable lamp shade, the direct light from the Tolomeo LED table lamp is perfectly suitable for desks. The LED illuminants are characterized by strongly reduced power consumption, a long life and optimal light yield. At LED lamps, the light is 100% directly led to the room so that the energy consumption and light emission to other directions is excluded.

The table lamp Tolomeo LED from Artemide consists of glossy and polished aluminium. For the lamps’ construction there are also table feet, a table clamp or a screw mounting available.
