In 1998, Jasper Morrison created the Glo-Ball-Series for Italian luminaire producer Flos. The series includes in addition to the Glo-Ball Table lamp which is introduced right now, the Glo-Ball Basic, Glo-Ball floor lamp, the Mini Glo-Ball table lamp and the Glo-Ball suspended lamp.

The globed formed table and desk lamp provides a diffuse light which is full of atmosphere.

The diffuser consists of an externally acid-etched, hand blown, flashed opaline glass and a die-cast aluminium threaded ring nut with alodine plating finish.

The base and the stem are made of high-thickness steel; the diffuser support consists of die-cast aluminium. All elements are painted in grey.

A 0 – 100 % dimmer is fitted on the grey fabric-upholstered polarized power-cord which is 190 cm long.
The net weight is 7 kg.

Glo-Ball T 1:

Net weight: 12,2 Kg

As an illuminant, Glo Ball T 1 will be delivered with a 150W (E27 HSGS/F) bulb and the Glo Ball T 2 will be delivered with a 250W (E27 HSGS/F) bulb.

Jasper Morrison was born in London in 1959, and graduated in Design at Kingston Polytechnic Design School, London (1979-82 BA(Des.) ) and The Royal College of Art for Post Graduate studies (1982-85 MA(Des.) RCA). In 1984 he studied at Berlin’s HdK on a Sc Designer Jasper Morrison
