Jasper Morrison created the Glo-Ball-Series for Italian lighting manufacturer Flos in 1998. In addition to the Mini version of the table lamp seen here, the series includes the Glo-Ball Basic, the Glo-Ball table lamp, the Glo-Ball pendant lamp and the Glo-Ball floor lamp.
The succinct, globe-shaped lights provide an atmospheric, diffuse light.
The diffuser of the Mini-Glo Ball table lamp is made of hand-blown, bowl-shaped opal glass with an etched exterior and a retaining ring with thread made of white, injection-moulded PBT (UL-94 V0). The cover, base and lamp socket are also made of white, injection-moulded PBT (UL-94 V0).
The on/off switch is located on the two-core isolated cable made of white PVC.
