The Romeo light series was created in 1998 by Philippe Starck for Flos. The diffuse light provided by the table lamp Romeo Soft can be changed through the touch-dimmer or the cable-dimmer in its intensity and thus, a cosy illumination is the result.

The internal diffuser consists of acid – etched pressed borosilicate glass; the shade is made of pliss cloth. The base and the yoke are made of die-cast aluminium: the stem is made of steel. All elements are painted in grey.
The diffuser support consists of injection-molded transparent polycarbonate (UL-94 V2).

Romeo Soft has an On/Off Touch Dimmer with a chrome-plated steel sensor is located in the yoke. Furthermore, it is also a version available where the On/Off switch and a 0-100% dimmer are installed on the cord.
