Made of recyclable plastic, and thanks to the innovative both-sided suckers, this shapely bird house can be mounted on every window. The careful chosen materials let the Bird Feeder stay also in extreme temperatures and ultraviolet radiation.
The feeding place is good for small birds, bigger birds have to stay out. For the necessary drainage while wind and weather caters the hole in the floor of the corpus.
For the original design the young design-smithies Born in Sweden and their creative head Pascal Charmolu were awarded with the Design Plus Award 2009 and nominated for the German Design prize 2010.
All three to five months the bird house should be demounted and cleaned, on the one hand, to preserve the material and on the other hand, to make the birds will feel good, too! But don't worry – the Bird Feeder is dish washer safe. But if you want to clean it by hand, the sucker has to be soaked in hot water for some minutes – so it gets its shape ad stability. And don't forget: before mounting, the window should be clean!
Pascal Charmolu is a French citizen who has lived in Stockholm since 1984. In 1990 he graduated from the industrial department of the Swedish Academy of Art and Crafts in Stockholm. Designer Pascal Charmolu
