"Coffee To Go" stands for more than just a way of drinking today - it can be seen as a symbol for the lifestyle of town and city dwellers. It stands for the speed of life in the 21st century with all the associated advantages and disadvantages.

The fact that traditional values are able to keep up with the velocity of the modern time is being proofed by the Metro Mug from the Steelworks series by the Swiss company Sigg. It's the stylish and eco-friendly alternative to the plastic lid paper cup, which is encountered each morning on streets and on public transport. Metro Mug therefore combines design, quality and sustainability in a seminal way that is known as eco-design.

In contrast to the paper variant, the slim two-layer is made of stainless steel and keeps drinks warm or cool for up to 12 hours. The lid shuts absolutely tight. For drinking and refilling puropses the lid is being screwed off - that's an enjoyable way of drinking just like at the breakfast table! The lid also contains a tray for storing tea bags or sugar bags. The bottom provides rigidity through an anti-slipping coating.

Sigg has thought about everything, including an appropriate volume (380 ml) and, of course, a high-quality design, which draw some jealous looks from the paper cup army!
