Amei - The planter with the edge M

The amei – „the one with the edge“ plants pot consists of the technically demanding connection-material Stonefiber – a mix out of polyester resin and milled stone, in which additionally included fiberglass filaments ensure high stability. On one side the amei pots fascinate by their high quality mineral look which develops a natural, grey patina in the black models after a few months. On the other side Stonefiber is shock and frost resistant. The containers therewith resist smaller shocks, tilting when it is windy and also frost-periods outside.

In the direct comparison with stones or ceramic pots, they convince because of the low material thickness with a reduced weight, making it easier to handle them. Besides geometric clear forms, also a new lightheartedness enters terraces, balconies or windowsills – and ensures a good piece of luckiness!

The classic amei pots with their reinforced edges are a revolution for the famous flower pot’s design since they are especially robust against shocks and scratches. Because of their statics, they can hardly decrease interior pressure – as every other plants pot. This is the reason why we suggest to reduce the soil’s weight by adding Styrofoam balls. These pots are also available with additional suitable saucers and with waterproof silicone inserts.

If you wish to use the amei planting pots outside, letting them unprotected in the rain, please include a water-draining hole with a drilling machine and a common stone driller in the base of the pot, since otherwise threatens root rot by the increasing humidity inside of the pots.
