The design is a response to the kitsch sunshades that one knows from exotic beaches. The small threads at the shade move with the wind, but thereby create an airy ambience and quite noises. If you close your eyes, you might even be able to forefeel the quite murmur of the ocean, feeling a bit as if on holiday.

Beside the joke, the design hasn’t forgotten the practical use that a sunshade is made for: of course also Fou Fou protects from sun radiation and ensures a pleasant shadow at hot summer days – but spreading a special esprit and Mediterranean atmosphere.
