Muuto - Flow Cans

The Flow Cans by the designer Jakob Wagner function like cans, seem like a sculpture and tell a story.

Jakob Wagner wanted to tell the story of the function of the can with his design: The Flow Can have a big opening to fill them and a small one for pouring out, a deep centre of gravity and a slim middle part, which offers a safe handling.

At the same time Jakob Wagner wanted to create a floating balance between this parts, through which they should find together to an organic entitiy- just like with a heart and the vains or a tree and its branches.

The design of the Flow Cans is very ambitious and contrived and almost lets them become alive.

The cans are made of best bone china and are glased in the inside while the outside is hand polished.
