Stelton - Can with ice lip

This Stelton can belongs to the Cylinda-Line and was designed by Arne Jacobsen, but it wasn’t produced when the Cylinda-Line was originally launched. Since water is nowadays an essential part of our meals, at home as well as in restaurants, the can was launched in 2004. Due to its simple shape and design the can is still very up-to-date.

Since 1960 the company Stelton aims at producing high-quality tableware and serving utensils made of stainless steel. For that, Stelton was awarded the Industry Prize from the Danish Society for Industrial Design several times. Moreover, many Stelton products are currently exhibited in museums, e.g. the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the British Museum in London and the National Museum for Applied Arts in Munich.

The Stelton can has a capacity of 2 litres and fits perfectly for every cold drink on your table. It consists of high-quality stainless steel and grants a long durability because of its excellent processing.

We suggest to clean the Stelton can with ice lip by hand, since the basic material (stainless steel) is dishwasher safe, but the black synthetic handle might fade after multiple dishwasher cleaning.

Arne Jacobsen (1902-1971) used to be professor at the Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and was appointed Dr. h.c. by several foreign universities and academies. He is considered as one of the pathfinders of the current furniture art.. Designer Arne Jacobsen
