The Iittala Taika series is magical and wakes long forgotten memories. The paper napkins appear with the popular Taika pictures and complete the full of fantasy design from a covered table.

The decorative sample for Taika was designed by Klaus Haapaniemi. Initially the sample was designed to adorn the Iittala-series Aika from Heikki Orvola, but the result was so impressing that without further ado it was decided to bring a new series to life.

Klaus Haapaniemi, born 1970, lives and works in London today. He illustrated and designed already for Diesel, Levis, Marimekko, Dolce & Gabanna or Cacharel and was named the most important newcomer for illustration and design by the WGSN. Designer Klaus Haapaniemi
