A di Alessi - A Tempo Wire Citrus Basket

The A Tempo wire citrus basket is part of the eponymous product family from Pauline Deltour and A di Alessi. The design plays with rhythm, movement and long pulled lines. The citrus basket consists of glossy polished stainless steel.

For the A Tempo wire citrus basket, Pauline Deltour used steel wire as a graphic element and emphasized thereby the aesthetic qualities of the material. The result is an unusual citrus basket with new forms and special visual effects.

Through the slightly inclined rods, the A Tempo basket seems to be moving. The steel wire thereby refers to the form of the citrus basket that is simultaneously weightless and transparent and that offers a glimpse to the content of the basket all the time.
