Usually we put on a coat to remain warm. Menu has developed a coat for wine bottles to keep them cold.

From now on the Vignon Cool Coat cools the wine: At Menu things are being turned upside down. Like with this new wine coat, that is not supposed to warm the bottle but to keep the wine fresh and cool - plus it more handy than the traditional wine cooler with ice.

Jakob Wagner has created a cool coat that suits any wine bottle. It is simply made of two layers of fabric and a loose gel pack. After you take the gel pack out of the freezer, you can put the coat on the wine bottle. Within 15 minutes the temperature will fall about 10 ∞C. The coat keeps the wine cold for about one hour - long enough to enjoy the appetizer or to drink the wine with friends on the patio.

"Cool Coat has style, is however expressing a bit of humour as well", says the designer Jakob Wagner. "´The coat can be adjusted to the size of the bottle -and the collar can be arranged individually to give the coat a personal note."
