Mobile is a roll car from Kartell that is characterized because of its weightlessness, flexibility, functionality, resistance and durability. The compact design was coined by Antonio Citterio and Glen Oliver Löw.
The drawers form the ground element of the container. The corpus from Mobile consists of PMMA (polymethyl methylacrylate). The firm and weatherproof plastic is a material of the highest aesthetics and functional quality. The drawers rest in a frame out of chromed steel rod.
Kartell offers Mobile in numerous variants that make it possible to introduce the container in the most different furnishings. That is how Mobile can be used as simple drawers’ element with two until six drawers and equipped with comfortable handles. The different modules can be mounted on firm feet and used in versatile areas: from the bedroom until the living room and bathroom, also as Hi-Fi Rack for the office, as drawers’ element as well as to store writing material and documents.
For its visual and functional qualities, the Mobile Container from Kartell has been awarded with the desired Compasso d’Oro in 1994.
