Kartell - Optic Container

Optic by Kartell is a very exciting object: a cube with transparent or mirror-facetted surface that creates a very special atmosphere thanks to a beautiful game with colours and reflecting images.

The container cube was designed by Patrick Jouin. It consists of PMMA and it is available in two editions: whether with door or an opened side. The surface is ornamented with pyramids with a square basis that are designed slightly relief-like.

The surface from Optic is mirrored or transparent. That is how an extremely interesting visual effect is created. Furthermore, several containers can be combined with each other: besides each other, over one another or behind each other and different functions can be fulfilled according to the assortment, offering a special charm to the ambience.

Patrick Jouin Was born in 1967 in Nantes in France. He graduated at the „ENSCI-les Ateliers“ in Paris in 1992. From 1995 to 199 he worked together with the Studio from Philippe Starck in Paris. Designer Patrick Jouin
