The Beak, by the Danish company Vilhelmine Design, an innovative combination of old-fashioned clothes-pegs and clothes hooks, offers fresh and exclusive appearance as well as style and humor to every home. The design is simple and minimalistic and follows the modern Danish design tradition of the melting of form and function.

The Beak supports nearly everything: From shoes and boots, over towels and jackets to scarves and gloves. The Beak is also especially practical for long boots that shouldn’t lie on the floor as a bulky mountain, but be stored optimally straight.

The name “The Beak” is a reference to the fresh and beak-like forms of the hooks that seems to snap for everything. Thanks to its versatility, The Beak is a practical helper in corridors, kitchens and bathrooms as well as the rest of the house.

The Beak can resist up to four kilograms in its peg and two more kilograms on the tube. Its tension-width is between 10 and 15 mm.

The designer Bodil Vilhelmine Dybvad Pedersen explained about the origin of her clothes hook: „The idea for The Beak emerges out of my anger about the mess of shoes on the floor. I wanted to find a solution for my own home and then came the design of The Beak”.

Peg and wall rosette are made out of fiberglass-reinforced plastic, the tube out of brushed stainless steel. All pieces are made in Denmark; The Beak is available in red and black at the moment.
