The venus by Milo belongs to the most famous examples of the Hellenic art. In 1937 the Italian designer Carlo Molino designed this mirror, a homage at the Greek sculpture, which embodies the ideal of the feminin beauty.
Thanks to Molino, the beauty of the Venus rubs off on all the human, which look into the mirror – a bautiful and classic-mystic imagination, which finds its realisation.
The erotic components of the object can not be denyed and that was the intention of Molino, because many of its designs unifys this characteristic. Thereby it successes on almost inimitable-niveauful way, to transfer the esthetic of the human body on a interior object.
