Scalo is a multifunctional object with two souls.

Normally is Scalo a wooden monolith without handles and outside features. Only two little openings at the sides allow you the view into its colourful inside. From this view is the Scalo a side table and a stool.

To bare Scalos second soul has the closing mechanism at the sides be opened. Then Scalo can be opened and changes into a small ladder which can also be used as a book shelf.

The small matal sticks which keept Scalo together can also be used to fix the opened position whrough which the carrying is made easy.

Scalo was made with a traditional method out of bent wood. Its natural form gives the ladderbox a simple but ambitious character.

Scalo Ladderox is also available in ash/ mocca.
