Offcut is a stool that is made out of that what actually was waste.
The Offcut stool consists of rests that emerge whilst the industrial workout of wood and that are usually disposed. But for Tom Dixon just the rests of the processed logs are the most beautiful part of the tree, for this reason, the company manufactures its stool out of this.
The design of the stool uses the curved and irregular parts of the discarded wood. Accordingly raw is also the charm of the stool that makes a secret out of its origin, what does also make him extremely pleasant.
The stool is delivered in single parts. And correspondingly flat is also the cardboard. However, the stool is easy to mount. No screws or glues are needed, the wooden pegs suffice.
The Offcut Stool is also available in an orange colour. From the Offcut series also a bench can be ordered in both colours.
